It's time to face the music. Our culture has taken a radical shift in the wrong direction over the past few years. There are now multiple truth claims as it relates to sex and gender and these claims are battling it out in the marketplace of ideas.
This episode will cover how our institutions interact with our children when it comes to this very critical issue. Our Government, local schools, the media, medical hospitals, entertainment, corporate America, sports, and many other organizations have quickly adopted the LGBTQIA+ agenda with little consideration to how this impacts our youth. The question at hand remains; is this ideology harmful to children? Why have we witnessed such a drastic change in recent years and what can we do about it?
Dr. Albert Mohler once stated, "if you want to reach people with an ideological agenda, you will have to get them as young as possible, so that you can have as much control as possible."
Like it or not, this is an issue that is not going away anytime soon. It must be confronted with a steadfast combination of grace and grit. Our future depends on it.

The Livewire Politics Podcast - Episode 25 | The Gender Pay Gap Conundrum

Episode 25 | The Gender Pay Gap Conundrum

The Livewire Politics Podcast

play

10/09/22 • 14 min

Today's episode is called the "10-minute download." A quick and concise analysis of a popular topic that many in the general public have gotten wrong. The gender wage gap discussion has been going on for decades. We've been told that women make only 77 cents for every dollar a man makes. Is that statement true? False? Incomplete?
Is there a gender wage gap? Are women paid less than men to do the same work? If that were the case, wouldn't companies simply hire a larger proportion of women and save nearly 20- 25% on the bottom line?
The "pay gap" is actually an "earnings gap" and the reason for this gap is primarily due to individual choices. Not sexism or discrimination. When individual choices are taken into consideration, the gap nearly vanishes.
This episode is intended to provide a spark to research this issue further. Hope you enjoy and don't forget to rate the podcast!

The Livewire Politics Podcast - Episode 20 | Why Leftugees Are Fleeing Blue States
play

07/06/21 • 36 min

America is on the move like never before. For many, the driver is as much political as it is economic. According to the U.S. Census Bureau; California, New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Illinois lost a combined 4 million residents between 2010 and 2019.
The term "Leftugee" has been coined to describe citizens who are leaving predominately Blue States for Red States. On this episode, we will be covering the top five reasons why this might be the case and uncover a few interesting (and strange) findings along the way. For example, in California, consumers pay a 33% tax on fruit when it’s purchased from a vending machine.
