Mark Chadwick - Levelling the land
This week I touch base with a personal hero of mine, Mark Chadwick. Mark is frontman and part of the song writing family within The Levellers. The band have a story well worth listening into. Mark and I discuss the life of the band from headling Glastonbury to 300,000 {the biggest crowd at the Pyramid stage EVER} to the ethos and the foundations of the band. He's a genuine soul from the last known era of rock n roll, the 90's! They're still making amazingly relevant music, in fact the music they made back in the day translates even more today. Boom it's Feargal Sharkey! Former frontman of The Undertones, enviromentalist and all round legend within 'The business'. We talk about the state of Britain's rivers, punk rock, post punk and his own journey from Derry to stardom. We even delve into adventures with Ramones. You'll know The Undertones for Teenage Kicks and you'll know A good Heart as one of Feargal's massive hits in the mid 80's. Enjoy and thanks for tuning in, it means a great deal during this terrible time. Check out my short film, comedy pilot and Limehouse Podcast blog: WWW.SOMEDAYSAREDIAMONDS.CO.UK
