On the August 8th episode of Liberal Dan Radio: Alex Rodruiguez was just suspended through the end of the 2014 season and many others have also been suspended for their alleged use of prohibited substances. Is this right? Does Major League Baseball have some hypocrisy on the impact that these substances have on the game when other things that they do allow have extreme impacts on the game? New Orleans is playing around with a horrible idea to fund the ferries. How could this have been stopped? What other examples would be better for ferry users? And what little nugget did I find on the stop the tolls website do I find most ironic? New Orleans has some major failures when it comes to education. I will go into some of them as well. On the August 12, 2020 episode of Liberal Dan Radio, the #YearOfLiberalDan continues and Joe Biden announced his nominee for Vice President, Senator Kamala Harris. I will be talking about that choice and while I understand there may be people who are not happy, that we need to put our egos aside and get to work. Of course, this isn't the ony news of the week. Donald Trump said some crazy stuff during his press conferences this week. From Spanish Flu to his word salad. But some liberals also seem to want to assign some value to the words that go beyond the context in which they were given. I will go into why the media needs to be more responsibile with how it reports as well as the unfair double standards placed on liberals that we unfortunately have to abide by. And the GOP keeps confirming where it is and how Donald Trump has emboldened the white supremacists in the party. A primary for Congress in GA ended up propelling a QAnon white supremacist into the general election. Gerrymandering likely means she will be going to DC with her bigotry. Liberal Dan Radio returns to Thursdays at 8pm Central this week, January 7th, 2015. A terrorist attack in France at the headquarters of the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo has caused shockwaves around the world. Muslim extremists attacked the paper for some cartoons it has done. Can one really claim to have faith if one is effected by simple drawings mocking ones religion? Shouldn't ones faith be able to overcome such feelings if ones faith is strong? This story also revealed another item that Conservatives like to harp on. Conservatives believe that Liberals are soft on Muslim extremism and would allow so called "Sharia Law" to be enacted in the US. I will explain how that is absolutely untrue. It is not just Muslim extremists who want to attack free speech. Kirby Delauter doesn't seem to quite get that simple fact. I will talk about his claims and the hiliarious response to them as well. Finally, I will be discussing the Steve Scalise scandal that continues to run through the media and explain why his choice to knowingly accept an invitation to speak given to him by a person known to him to be a racist is the biggest problem here.
