In this episode of the Level Playing Field Podcast, we dive into the findings of the 2024/25 Level Playing Field Fan Survey, the largest to date with over 2,000 responses from fans across 156 clubs.

Joining host Liam Bird are three key voices behind the survey:

• Daniel Townley, Development Officer and the data expert who pulled it all together.
• Owain Davies, Chief Executive at Level Playing Field
• Tony Taylor, Chair of Level Playing Field.

Together, they explore the standout stats from this year’s

survey, including rising reports of disability abuse, accessibility barries

with public transport and parking, and how societal attitudes still act as

barriers for disabled fans.

They also discuss what clubs and governing bodies need to

prioritise and the actions Level Playing Field is taking to drive meaningful

change.

Whether you're a sports fan, an advocate for inclusion, or just

curious about the lived experiences of disabled supporters, this episode offers

an honest and insightful look at the state of accessibility in sport today.

We speak to Rick Riding an inspector for the Sports Ground Safety Authority (SGSA) who have been working with the UK Government's to bring about guidance and guidelines for sporting clubs in England to open up to fans. Rick talks to us about the work that has been happing behind the scenes as well as what guidance has been given regarding disabled supporters.

The Fans Liaison Officer heads over to Norwich City where he witnessed what the return of fans looks like as he speaks to the 'Head of Operations & Projects' at Norwich City, Greg Pillinger about what fans can expect and a few hours before kick-off, Liam sits down with two disabled supporters about their thoughts of returning to Carrow Road.

Welcome to Episode 6 of 'The Level Playing Field Podcast'
