The Kulcha - Episode 136 - How To Treat Your Enemy
play

06/02/22 • 51 min

NEW WEEK, NEW KULCHA!!!

We kick off this weeks episode of The Kulcha with a controversial ice-breaking question - who can say "nigga"? As in, is there a context for someone to use the word, who is not allowed to? What would they have to have achieved in order to use it? We use Alchemist (hip hop producer) and Eminem as guinea pigs to test the our opinions.

With all the controversy currently going in the country, one outstanding piece of news was the new flag post that was proposed a few weeks ago! Stan commends South Africans for coming together on the matter but also condemns us not being proactive enough in the fight against government looting. Without practising restraint, Stan condemns the government for their blatant foolishness and outright corruption.

Have you ever heard of a company named Tencent? If not, Google them and find out for yourself why we ought to be weary about the tech we use.

How do you treat your enemies, with cruelty or with kindness? Uno questions the depth of body shaming as he relays a personal experience that sees a friend turn into a foe and he doesn't know how to act! All in an attempt to deal with having a new enemy!

Oh and finally...there's a little insect going around that apparently is gonna cost South Africa R275 billion over the next 10 years. Stan suspects nanotechnology and proposes that it might be agri-warfare! WTF????!!!!

This is your cue to roll up!

The Kulcha - Episode 113 - Radical Kulcha
play

07/15/21 • 32 min

New week, new Kulcha

It's a 2 man cut as Uno and Stan get to chop it up.

Radical seems to be the theme of the past few weeks as the smell of anarchy has been floating over eSwatini and South Africa. We found out that Jacob Zuma is not the only former president to be sentenced to jail this year. There was also an idea on the best reason to start a hunger strike. A theory of an "Nguni Winter" a la Arab Spring shows itself. Presidential assassinations have made a comeback in a country that can't catch a break.  From there, we speak on under recognized red flags as well as the concept of blackmailing for money.

We hope you all stay safe and light one up, for the Kulcha.

The Kulcha - Episode 131 - Space Nazi's ft. Rudy
play

03/03/22 • 48 min

NEW WEEK, NEW KULCHA!!!

Ever heard of "Space Nazis"?

Its yet another jam packed, mind-bending, imagination stretching episode of The Kulcha and this week, we are joined by fellow stoner and former marine - Phillipus affectionately known to us all as Rudy.

The chats break in with an ice-breaker question: who are the 5 most influential people to have lived that you would save and take to a new world...dead or alive?  Everyone's input made some sort of sense, even Rudy's remark that he'd take Beyonce because "we need some ass in the new world" LMAO

As it was the month of love, a question was looming in Uno's mind "who handles heartbreak better between men and women?" A lot of very interesting answers were discussed with the conclusion strangely leading us to explore the relationship between heartbreak and harm.

Speaking of harm, Lee takes the chance to inform us on cultural practices that involve the mutilation of female genitals in the name of "circumcision" taking place in certain parts of Africa.

This is a roller coster of an episode and the best thing you can do is roll up and enjoy the ride!
