The Kingdom Perspective

Send us a text

How often do you live your life in "maybe," wavering back and forth in your decision making? Chile let us be honest, we all have been guilty, but NO MORE! It's time for our "yes" to be "yes" and our "no" to be "no!"
In Matthew 5:37 Jesus states
"Let what you say be simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything more than this comes from evil."
Now since Jesus instructs us to let our answer be definitive we most definitely need to take heed to what our Savior has instructed for us to do! Join us for this world wind conversation that shifted our perspective and accountability on even our response to "no!"

Proverbs 18:21 (NKJV) reads "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit."
As we embark on this weeks topic our language has been put on full display for the Holy Spirit to discipline, correct and hold us accountable for the words we speak and how we say them. Although in James we are informed that our tongue is the one thing that we cannot control (James 3) we are responsible for taking heed to the correction of the Holy Spirit through our language. Words are more powerful than we like to believe, seeing as though a word was spoken and the entire world came to be! Have words shaped your world? Have words whether hurtful or uplifting drive you to make decisions about who you are and what you do? Join us for this weeks intimate conversation!
