In the height of the age of serial killers, one from Ohio stands out for his vicious torture of his victims. With none of the usual warning signs, he begins his killing spree seemingly out of nowhere. 6 young men fall victim to the Kansas City Butcher.

Inspiration for fictional characters are often pulled from real life; but can that really be true for characters who are so terrifying, the thought of them being real people is an impossibility? In 1987 the inspiration for the notorious Buffalo Bill (Silence of the Lambs) was arrested. What authorities discovered in his basement may be even more disturbing than his on-screen counterpart.

From victims of abuse, to arbiters of torture; Delfina, Maria Luisa, Carmen and Maria De Jesus Gonzalez were four sisters from a small village in Mexico that ran a bordello of Hell. They did it all, from corrupt politicians and dirty cops, to drugs, sex slavery, torture and yes -murder.  Even to this day, these sinister sisters are some of Mexico's most infamous murderesses of the 20th century. 

In the 1970s, New York City was terrorized by a serial killer. The Son of Sam would shoot unsuspecting women and couples around the city. Leaving notes that taunted police and dared the newspapers to catch him. Could a  dog, possessed by a demon, create this monster?

Michael Madison is one of the most recent serial killers to torment the streets of East Cleveland, Ohio. Michael is said to have been emboldened by another Cleveland serial killer, Anthony Sowell. Though his span of diabolical crimes may have been short, the impact he left behind will last forever.
