The Imaginal Podcast
Lori "Sas" Sase
The Imaginal Podcast is for anyone who wants to break through old criticisms or move through childhood feelings of exclusion in order to express themselves more fully. Sometimes old stories or fears can unnecessarily hold really capable, talented people back. We are often creatives and empaths - people who are generally self-aware yet also have areas of their life that they still want to express whether that's creatively, professionally, relationally or contributorily. It is a place where we have real and tender conversations about how to understand and actualize your uniqueness. Laughter, vulnerability, bravery, resilience, compassion and healing are all prioritized here. We break the fourth wall of being human and sort through the obstacles that might be preventing you from expressing your creativity, utilizing your voice and value, enjoying your life to the fullest, and being true to yourself. It is led by Lori "Sas" Sase (she/her); life coach and a student of life. Though not fully realized herself yet, she has realized how much freedom, confidence, meaning, and connection the process of self-realization facilitates. Like the caterpillar who carries its butterfly-blueprint-containing imaginal cells to the chrysalis, where it melts into goo before it can transform, you too have an inner knowing that can tell you how to make your wings. And it's been within you all along. Sas's hope is that The Imaginal Podcast will help you learn how to listen to your own internal imaginal cells that are just waiting to be trusted and manifested. And then discover how you can live, love and contribute in even more meaningful ways. **Music by: KonovalovMusic

85: Body Image - An Inroad to Feeling More Beautiful and Desirable with Health Coach Alison M. Scott
The Imaginal Podcast
02/20/23 • 30 min
Today Alison M. Scott shares a personal story about how a boudoir photo shoot allowed her to reclaim and remember the beauty of her body.
She shares the details of her hesitancy which then transformed into reclamation, beauty and triumph.
Ali's story is such an incredible example of how to find greater love and appreciation for your body.
An important caveat is that it would be absolutely vital to be in a very safe environment. Sexual assaults and objectifications have been far too common. Alison and I want to make it clear that we absolutely stand against anything of this nature. We also don't support toxic situations that could come out of patriarchy or unhealthful power dynamics.
That aside, this is a beautiful story. I hope you are heartened by the truth of your beauty too.

83: Body Image: Falling More In Love With Your Body - With Health Coach Alison M. Scott
The Imaginal Podcast
02/06/23 • 29 min
Have old comments or societal beauty standards ever caused you to feel self-conscious about your body?
Perhaps, even unknowingly, you may have an inner dialogue that dwells on an old, usually untrue, criticism.
Do you ever scrutinize yourself in a mirror or spend time worrying about your looks?
Or might your opinion about your body sometimes hold you back from certain activities or engagements?
For different reasons, it could be a thread that weaves through the various stages of our lives.
That's so relatable and incredibly common, especially in our social media world of filters and appearance-based evaluations.
The problem is that it can really hold you back - and maybe even more than you realize.
Health Coach Alison M. Scott and I are so passionate about this topic.
It's time to live freer, enjoy life more, and reclaim these beautiful, miraculous bodies of ours!

81: I Have Self Esteem - So Why Do I Still Have Self-Doubt Sometimes? Part 3
The Imaginal Podcast
01/23/23 • 30 min
I am excited to continue our series:
I Have Self-Esteem - So Why.... ?
This series carries a special invitation to those of you who have already done a lot of personal development work, but once in a while you have a bit of self-doubt (who doesn't?).
It is also for the leaders, mentors, therapists, role-models, etc - those of us who encourage others in knowing their self-worth.
My guess is that you likely have solid self-esteem -which is great, because self-esteem can be incredibly valuable.
However, is it enough to afford you all the aspects of life and love that you are really hoping for?
Are you expressing yourself freely and to your fullest extent - both literally and metaphorically?
There may, in fact, be a deeper layer that has gone unaddressed which could present barriers to the life that you really want to experience.
This message is core to my work, and it's at the very center of my heart. I've been wanting to bring these messages to you for a long time.
I've had the privilege of seeing lives expressed so much more fully when we can get into and sort out these very nuanced spaces.
I'm really looking forward to delving in and journeying these paths with you!

78: Identifying One Lesson You've Learned in 2022 with Guest Co-Host Raphaela Browne
The Imaginal Podcast
01/02/23 • 21 min
What did you learn in 2022?
It can be extremely empowering to reflect upon, name and share the lessons that you have learned.
You can then recognize the value of your time as well as acknowledge your bravery, insights, revelations, accomplishments, shifts in mindset, etc.
It also can afford separation from old, confining narratives that may have been hanging on.
Today Raphaela Browne and I share some deep truths regarding lessons that we've each learned in 2022. As for me, this may be my most vulnerable share.
Because of the beautiful feedback we've been receiving, we decided to kick off the year by creating a space where we all can really be real.
We felt that starting 2023 with a nod to trust and connection would be resonant to what The Imaginal Podcast set out to be.
I personally want to wish you a very Happy New Year and send my heartfelt wishes for all the paths ahead of you in 2023.
Thank you, as always, for being with us.

The Imaginal Podcast
01/17/22 • 61 min
Kelsey Delane, a Certified Yoga Therapist and Full Spectrum Doula, brings faceted insights, accessible inroads and beautiful relatability to the rich territory of loving yourself without condition.
Kelsey's shares are marked by notable nuance as she interweaves the concepts of embracing the wholeness of life, understanding the mind/body system, and honoring all that coexists amidst duality.
This is vast territory but shared in very real, understandable, relatable ways - all resonating from her very true heart.
Kelsey is an incredibly beautiful person with whom people find safety and the freedom to be themselves. I hope today's episode will be an invitation for you to do likewise.
I am beyond grateful to have her on the podcast today. It's hard to find words to describe the gorgeousness of her personhood, so please check out her website and information below.
Kelsey Delane Troup (she/her), C-IAYT, E-RYT500
Certified Yoga Therapist & Full Spectrum Doula
Kelsey Delane is a bookworm, an extroverted introvert & a (milk) chocolate-lover raising three daughters while running her heart-centered yoga business. As a distraught college freshman, Kelsey first fell in love with yoga in 2006. Her yoga mat became her solace from chronic anxiety & depression and where she first explored a gentle relationship with herself. Integrating the tools of breath, somatic awareness, and yoga philosophy into her life has shown her the path to a kind of serenity that is not circumstantial. As a Yoga Therapist, Kelsey’s deepest desire is to de-mystify the time-tested wisdom of Yoga and to hold the hand of her students while they explore new ways of being & co-creating with life. She’s committed to cultivating heart-to-heart relationships that remind you how lovable you are in this exact moment, while simultaneously pushing you to grow into an even more whole version of yourself. She believes that the capacity to build these bonds starts with your friendship with yourself, and that it's within the context of these unconditional love bubbles that we can do the work of healing on the level of the body, mind, heart & spirit.

102: Knowing What You Believe Even In The Face Of Differing Opinions with Avi Styskal
The Imaginal Podcast
06/19/23 • 53 min
Today Avi Styskal and I talk about being clear on what you believe and what matters to you - even in the face of differing or opposing opinions.
I think that can be tricky especially in the landscape of our world where there are so many differing voices. It can even be intimidating to try to speak your own mind.
Do you ever find it troublesome to share what you believe? Or do you ever get weighed down by the contentious social media conversations?
Perhaps, sometimes it's prudent not to say something. Or maybe we have a vision for change but find it difficult to speak up.
We each bring such different perspectives and experiences, and that is so incredibly valuable.
Avi shares from a deep resonance of love. In this interview, she talks about the challenges of speaking up for what you believe in, while also how vital it is to do so.
As you listen to this episode, I invite you to search for what you believe. Even in the face of some differing opinions, what is it that really matters to you?
We hope for a world that has more love, and that is at the very heart of this episode.
