Welcome to the History of Europe Podcast. In this introduction we'll explore 2.6 million years of European history in about 20 minutes. We'll cover the Paleolithic through the current financial crisis as a general overview of what this show we'll talk about in the coming months and years.

Episode 02 Paleolithic Europe

In this episode we'll discover Paleolithic Europe. Beginning with Homo Habilis and his tendency to be a snack for sabre-tooth cats we'll gradually make our way through some of the more important human ancestors in Europe until we make our way to Cro-Magnon man's arrival in Romania. From there we'll discuss some of these early modern human developments until the Pleistocene decides to end and the weather perks up a bit, ushering in a new era, the Mesolithic. But the Mesolithic is for next time.
