How Sofi Guilbault Found Herself
The Hipster Mom Podcast
06/19/20 • 77 min
"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we'll ever do." -Brené Brown.
Hey Hipsters! I'm back with another episode on self-love! In today's episode, I sat down with Sofi Guilbault, and I got to hear her story about how she traveled from Canada to Switzerland to find herself. Throughout this process, she felt homesick, and at times, lonely. Sofi also talked about how she worked as an au pair, but that job didn't quite work out. We also talked about how yoga saved her life, our partners, meditation, and most importantly, how she practices self-love. I was inspired by her story, as it led me to the realization that if we're trying to change our circumstances, then we must be willing to change our environment.

Building and Preserving Boundaries
The Hipster Mom Podcast
02/07/21 • 43 min
Hey, everyone! I'm BACK! I took a month off from podcasting, but it feels good to get back to it, even though I feel a bit rusty. In today's episode, I thought we could talk about boundaries. In my opinion, boundaries are supercritical for our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I'm talking about my own personal examples in today's episode, so I hope I won't bore you too much. Overall, it's important to take care of those boundaries and to preserve them.

Universal Children's Day!
The Hipster Mom Podcast
11/21/20 • 22 min
Hey, everyone! I'm back with another episode, and this time, we're talking about #UniversalChildrensDay! Today is a day that is celebrated each year to promote togetherness, to raise awareness among children all over the world, and improve children's welfare. I felt a calling to do this episode in particular because of my job as a paraprofessional, and I truly believe that the children of today will be our future leaders of tomorrow. We must ensure that we can do everything we possibly can to make sure that they have access to the resources that they desperately need.

We're Starting a Family!
The Hipster Mom Podcast
02/27/21 • 31 min
Hey, everyone! I'm back with another episode and a VERY big announcement. We're starting a family! My husband and I have been having serious conversations about starting a family, and we are now tossing caution and birth control to the wind! I'm so excited to start this journey with him, and I can't wait to see where it takes us. As per usual, I found a fun article about the signs that you're ready for a baby, and I think I've hit pretty much every single one of them on the list. If you're in the season of conceiving or trying to start a family, I would love to hear about it, so send me a message on Instagram or email me!
