The Green Room Podcast

Keith Stroup founded the infamous cannabis litigation firm NORML (National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws) in 1970. His passion started with recreational use in law school and became a lifelong journey of activism. Even after establishing NORML as a firm that was committed to decriminalizing cannabis, his parents didn’t realize the impact of his work on the basic access to a plant that has been fighting prohibition for the last 50 years. Now nearing legalization we talk about the journey of cannabis, some of his biggest cases and the challenges the industry faces as it moves into commercialization.
NORML's mission is to move public opinion sufficiently to legalize the responsible use of marijuana by adults, and to serve as an advocate for consumers to assure they have access to high quality marijuana that is safe, convenient and affordable.
