The Grave Plot Podcast
All girls! All nude! All dead! Things are gonna get sexy, because this is episode XXX of The Grave Plot Podcast! We kick things off with Horror Business, including some updates on the new King Kong film Skull Island, plus casting updates for The Walking Dead and the reboot of Ghostbusters. We also have news about the Friday the 13th franchise, including the new movie and a new video game. We then tell you all about the new anthology film Tales of Halloween, give even more details on Ash vs. Evil Dead, and tell you about the death of Pinhead. If that's not enough for you, we also have news on Twin Peaks, Strangers on a Train, Mr. Mercedes, and 28 Months Later. From there we move on to "Grave Plot After Dark," where we review two movies full of zombies, strippers, and zombie strippers. First up is Strippers vs. Zombies, aka Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! We enjoyed this movie for about 6 seconds, but it was all worth it. Listen to find out why. Our second review is Zombie Strippers, starring Jenna Jameson and Robert Englund. So join us for some hardcore undead action. Only one episode of The Grave Plot Podcast will ever be XXX, so don't miss out on the fun.

Episode 29 – The Babadook/Tusk/Tristan Risk

We kick off the new year with two of the biggest horror movies of the year. We start with a movie heralded by many as the scariest movie of 2014, The Babadook. From there we move on to the latest from Kevin Smith, the animalistic body horror Tusk. We also have a very exciting interview with actress/model/dancer Tristan Risk. Tristan tells us how she got into acting, how she got into horror (it's not the usual), and tells us all about her past, present, and future endeavors. There is a lot of American Mary discussion and a story from the set of Mania. It's a good one. We also have a bunch of real life Horror Business, including Slenderman stabbings, ax decapitations, mall fights, and dead celebrities. We've also got updates on Ash vs. Evil Dead, Constantine, and The Walking Dead. We close out with a new stage show based on Shaun of the Dead. Listen and enjoy.

Episode 31 – Starry Eyes/Zombeavers

Hello again! Welcome to episode lucky number 31 of The Grave Plot podcast! Horror Business kicks things off with a little bit of real life horror, including a Ohio teacher who showed her students The ABCs of Death to expected results. We also tell you about the real undead cat who rose from his grave and Gunnar Hansen donning the Leatherface mask "one last time." Moving on to the world of fiction, we tell you about the reunion of Tristan Risk and Laurence Harvey, the reboot of The X-Files, the continuing saga of Friday the 13th, and an update on It. Furthermore, we discuss the Walking Dead companion series, a new zombie movie being helmed by a Backstreet Boy, and rumors of a remake of The Blob. Also, World War Z 2 is set to have a "clean slate," whatever that means, The Green Inferno could finally see the light of day, The Crow loses its lead, The Strangers 2 is going to be a thing, and more Ghostbusters casting news. We close out the show with our reviews. We start out with the horror-comedy-shlockfest Zombeavers, about a colony (we Googled it) of undead monster beavers who attack a group of girls in bikinis. Our second review is the cult-body-horror film Starry Eyes, one of the most acclaimed movies of 2014. Did we agree with that assessment? There's only one way to find out and that's to listen for yourself!
