Today's guest is a UK local who has been shredding over 20 years. In his time riding he has been in countless magazines, rode in many contests, been sponsored by some big brands like DiamondBack and DuFFs footwear, and produced 2 full length DVDs, "Unsung", and "What Next". Just like most of life, you have to take the good with the bad, and he has dealt with some of the hardest things a person can endure, on January 7th, 2003 he would go into a coma after taking a crash while riding the day before. Things didn’t get better at first, he would have a heart attack while in his coma which left his brain unresponsive. On January 13th, 2003 at the age of 19, Nik Ford had died.... After 3.5 hours, the nurse came to do her final round with Nik when she noticed a reaction in his pupils, he was alive! and in the fight of his life. 18 years later Nik Ford is here at The Goat Cave to tell us his story and so much more!

Todays guest is one of the most important people in the BMX world, and has been a huge part of shaping BMX to the way it has become. He is the founder of one of the biggest brands in BMX, FBM, which would take the world by storm with their hand built in the USA frames and parts. Not only did their products stand out, but their videos were like none other, you knew you were about to see some crazy shit when you put the tape in. Weather it be dudes trying to break glass bottles over they heads, explosions, or Lou Bickle eating light bulbs, one thing was clear, the FBM dudes loved to party. He was also the face of BMX media for so many years. You couldn’t watch a Props video without seeing him with the microphone in hand. He was a crucial part of road fools, as he brought the video together by interviewing the riders throughout the trip. Things don’t stop there, and in recent years we may have lost FBM, but we have gained his new Coffee brand, Drop In, and also RadShare, a non for profit aimed at keeping the stoke high by giving kids bikes and helmets. He does all this and more from his bus turned home in Richmond VA, the one and only Steve Crandall!

Todays guest is a legend in the BMX world, who is known for his pro career in the 90s, not only that, but he has become a household name known from movies like Paul Blart’s Mall cop, and Triple XXX with Vin Diesel. After getting into BMX at the age 12, he would become a member of the BMX Brigade with riders like Dennis McCoy, Shawn Dickson, Jody Johnson, and more. Only a few years would go by and he would find himself as the newest member of the GT team, and a full page ad in BMX Plus. By the year 2000 he had rode In the 1996 closing ceremonies of the Olympics, he had made a name for himself in the biggest contests around the world, and even scored some brand new, never heard rancid music for his run in the year 2000 gravity games! Fast forward 16 years later and he has just come out with Pool Seekers, a show with Boost Mobile that shows Him and his crew going and doing what ever it takes to ride backyard pools. clearly BMX and acting aren’t enough for him considering he also is the front man of the band Good Guys in Black, a Comedian, and a podcast host. Im stoked to be talking with the one and only Rick Thorne!

Today's guest is most known for his unmatched skill and style when it comes to park riding, his originality is so refreshing in today's age of repetitive trick combos. It's clear he takes a lot of influence from freestyle motocross with his flip combinations, but he also embodies the Midschool era with more simple tricks like tables, turndowns to fakie, and superman over double coping spines. He represents Canadian BMX so well with his positive attitude, and genuine care for the BMX community.
