On the Go: Orchids at Longwood Gardens
03/03/20 • 37 min
Hey Listeners,
We have a special bonus episode for you this month. The Gardens Thyme Gals went to Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, to learn more about their yearly orchid exhibit. We were about to sit down with Greg Griffis, senior horticulturist and orchid grower, to ask him all about the exhibit, orchids plants, and get some tips for growing them.
The Orchid Extravaganza is currently run at Longwood Garden until March 22. You can find out more information about it and the garden at longwoodgardens.org. To see pictures of Greg's favorite orchid and other orchids at the Longwood Gardens display, check out the Garden Hoes Podcast Facebook page or our photo drive here.
If you can't make it too Longwood Garden exhibit, check with a local garden in your area to see if they have similar exhibits going on.
