The Fun with Friends Podcast

Anjali of Sovereign Treasures joins Allie in this week's episode to talk about incorporating henna into glass painting and the joys of connecting with others through art.
Meet My Guest!
Anjali hand-paints glass for dining and entertaining embellished with freehand patterns inspired by Indian henna designs. She is a self-taught artist that has always had a deep love of colors and textures, which shows in her work. ⁣

Anjali grew up in India, and following her marriage, she moved to London, where she took a course on henna application. Although the class didn't immediately lead to anything over time, Anjali started integrating henna patterns into her work and merging an Eastern concept with a Western medium, creating a product that transcends both cultures.⁣

S3E5: Intuition Talks with Jazz: Self-love versus Self-care

One of my favorite guests is back again!
Jazz from, Tour de Jazz, is joining me for our first Intuition Talk. We sat down back in August 2021 to talk about self-love vs. self-care. How are they different and how can they impact your day-to-life.
Meet the Guest:
My name is Jazz, I am from Australia. Prior to Covid 19 I had been traveling around Australia & the world for over 10 years. I have undergone my own journey of self discovery and personal development, and I am still learning and growing, each and every day.
When I was grounded in Australia during the pandemic, I felt completely lost. My identity as a traveller had been suspended and without that title, I didn’t know how to identify myself. The universe put many thing in front of me to help me deeper understand myself, many opportunities to expand and surrender. There have been many times where I have been broken down completely in order to rebuild. I now know my vision, I feel integrated with my mission and I am here to help others do the same. To strengthen and deepen their relationship with self. To provide guidance and tools expanding self awareness and the confidence to use and integrate them.

Tour De Jazz is a personal brand that has been created, based around travel, self love and spirituality, the 3 key elements that have built me to the person I am today. Tour De Jazz- the journey of me, standing here to serve you.

For a long time I was searching, never really knowing what for. It is now clear, that along the whole journey, what I was searching for, was me.

I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with you. I trust that you’ll find something here that serves you well. (https://tourdejazz.org/tour-de-jazz-home-page/)

S1E19: From Stress Heart Attack to Helping Others Make Money from their Passions with Kelly Phillips

Kelly Phillips joins Allie in this week's episode to talk about her journey from having a stress-related heart attack in her 30s to being an entrepreneur and helping others make money doing what they love!
Meet My Guest!
After a long and somewhat varied career in both the corporate and entrepreneurial worlds, Kelly now offers her services in two main areas - e-learning/training development and eCommerce/online marketing implementation.
It may seem like an odd combination on the surface, but you'd be surprised how much the two have in common. Success in both fields often depends on how well you communicate an idea to your intended audience.
In addition to Kelly's consulting services and training, Kelly is also a paper bead maker and creative entrepreneur.
