Deep Purpose, Finding Your Purpose Unlocks Your Potential
The Friendly Podcast Guide
01/31/23 • 14 min
I believe that we were all put on this earth for a purpose, but figuring out what that purpose is can be super difficult. I’ve learned this first hand this year as I’ve been trying to figure out how to follow both my dreams of being a mom and of making a podcast. This week I am talking about the podcast Deep Purpose, which has helped me realize that my potential can be unlocked when I have a clear purpose. Harvard Business School Professor Ranjay Gulati is the host and he interviews top global CEOs about their personal journeys to find purpose and how it has helped them in the business world.

So you’re looking for a podcast, maybe it’s one that’ll help you learn about something specific or maybe you’re just looking for something to keep your kids entertained while waiting in the carpool pick up line, don’t worry I’ve got you covered.
I love podcasts. I use them daily in a myriad of different ways. Just today I used them to connect with God, get caught up on the news of the day, entertain my kids while we were running errands, help me learn more about how to run a successful business and make me laugh super hard while I was doing the dishes. You too can have podcasts that cover all of these situations and even more. You COULD scour the internet to try and find all of those podcasts... reading podcast lists and trying to figure out if they’re a good fit for you just by reading words from a stranger OR you could listen to my show where I give you the facts of the podcast and the vibe of the show through an interview with the host or a clip from one of the podcast’s episodes. Finding a podcast doesn’t have to be overwhelming or hard, you just need to listen to The Friendly Podcast Guide.

This podcast does an amazing job of helping moms by giving us 3 things we can actually do to make our motherhood journey better.

Celebrate A Different Type of Love with Friendship Podcasts
The Friendly Podcast Guide
02/20/24 • 6 min
My partner, Scott, did a church service mission in Finland for two years before we met. I have fallen in love with this amazing country from his stories and after visiting several years ago.
This week I wanted to honor the way that Finns celebrate Valentine's Day. In Finland, Valentine's Day isn't just a day dedicated to romance exclusively, but celebrates wider friendships.
The Finnish term for Valentine's Day, juustuvanpäivä, translates into Friend's Day. Here are some fun friendship podcasts to celebrate Finland's version of Valentine's Day!

Spyology Squad, Help Your Kids Learn about Science While Having Fun
The Friendly Podcast Guide
11/01/22 • 13 min
One of my favorite ways to entertain my kids without using a screen is kid podcasts and one of my kids’ favorite podcasters is Mr. Jim. My kids were over the moon excited when they found out that I got to talk to Mr. Jim about his podcasts.
This is how Mr. Jim describes Spyology Squad: Packed with adventure every week, we call these kids stories “spyience-fiction”. In spyology squad, you’ll follow Jayden, Ava and Mr. Jim as they work to defeat Dr. Stinkybreath and his purple ninjas. Every week we’ll learn all about a new subject in science, have fun and save the world together!
