We're back with another entry in our series on the epic 10-part anime SAW series. This one's a doozy, we've got so much to discuss. We don't even get to talking about Saw IV until an hour in!
Ben and Alex give their thoughts on some hot new flicks coming out of the Toronto International Film Festival (including Harmony Korine's much anticipated AGGRO DR1FT fwah fwah fwah fwaaaah)... Ben also reviews "having COVID" which sucked very much. We also provide an update on the infamous Drew Barrymore Croppenheimer fiasco (she's a scab now, who'd have thought?) and we rate our first listener-submitted dick, just like they do on OnlyFans! We made it ma!
Oh yeah and we do talk about Saw IV at some point, it's not very good but has some laughs. Donnie Wahlberg gets his head exploded by two giant swinging ice blocks!

Oh Jeff... one of the most vividly sketched characters in recent memory, wonderfully portrayed by the fully awake Angus Macfadyen. This movie is brutal, it is hilarious, it has all the makings of a horror movie marathon sleepover classic. Katherine joins us again to dive head first into the rotten pig slop trap and get into what works so well with this entry in the franchise.

Friend of the pod Devin Shears joins us this week to discuss Saw V, a film which makes the bizarre decision to focus less on the traps and more on the... character development? Give us what we want! This is a very cheap-looking film, and not exactly the highlight of the series... though it does have Julie Benz in it and a reliably killer ending to the Strahm-Hoffman showdown.
