War On Ukraine: Russia's 'Hyperbolic Rhetoric' On Nuclear Threats

05/02/22 • 14 min

The Fox News Rundown

Last week, the West once again heard warnings from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, cautioning that the West supporting Ukraine with defensive equipment constitutes a 'proxy war' that could escalate this conflict to nuclear war. As these Russian nuclear threats continue, legislation in the U.S. Congress has been introduced to give the President authorization for use of military force if Russia utilizes weapons of mass destruction. FOX's Eben Brown speaks with Fox News National Security Correspondent Jennifer Griffin about why she believes the threats of nuclear conflict out of the Kremlin are 'hyperbolic' and nontypical of a nuclear power.
