E18. The Whistler: Poison is Quicker (12/3/1945)

Join host, Carl Amari, for this week's thrilling radio re-broadcast of The Whistler, featuring vocal talent from the legendary Hans Conried.

Always looming in the shadows, The Whistler served as an omnipresent figure that seemingly acted as a guilty conscience. Foreseeing the fate of the show's protagonists, he nevertheless urged them on as he was strangely aware of their motives. Often considered a sister series to Suspense but without the celebrity guests, The Whistler wrapped up every episode with the antagonist's demise through a careless mistake or twist of fate, much to the delight of the program's audience.

With an original air date of 12/03/1945, be sure to grab your trench coat and magnifying glass as we jump into this week's episode of "Poison is Quicker," from The Whistler.
