The EdUp Experience

In this fantastic episode of The EdUp Experience, sponsored by MDT Marketing, we talk with Laura Ipsen, President and CEO at Ellucian. Laura talks to us about how Ellucian guides over 2,700 customers in more than 50 countries—improving operations and enhancing the user experience for their faculties, staff, and over 20 million students.

She explains how her organization provides support to institutions using an ERP with an open interoperable SAAS platform to manage and streamline business functions and workflows and by advising on branding, the opportunities presented with online learning, and efficiencies to create a more seamless student experience to improve outcomes.

We also discuss how to integrate systems for one-stop-shopping for students, faculty and administration. She really gets how the higher education sector needs to reimagine how we serve students to meet their expectations and how we can continue to evolve effectively for the future of online learning.

You'll definitely want to hear her thoughts about the importance of digital marketing, branding and positioning for the next generation of college students.

Laura has more than 25 years of experience as a technology executive, working to drive transformation in the public and private sectors and spur adoption of comprehensive solutions in high-growth industries.

Laura joined Ellucian from Oracle Corporation, where she most recently served as general manager and senior vice president for Oracle Marketing Cloud—leading all customer-facing aspects of the business, including sales, account management, marketing, and customer services. Previously, she served as corporate vice president of Microsoft’s worldwide public sector organization, where she led a team of more than 2,000 sales and marketing professionals serving government, education, and non-privatized healthcare customers in more than 100 countries.
