Bron speaks candidly about her transition from teaching English and Literature for around a decade to comedy and how an incredibly challenging personal period as a new mum to follow her passion for stand up. We chat about the intersection of comics and addiction, how the scene is evolving and the laborious debate around whether we can joke about stuff anymore. In her raw 'Note To Self', Bron writes to herself as a new mum struggling to find her old self in a sea of uncertainty, anxiety and depression. She also cracks a lot of jokes. As well as her show 'Probably' which received nominations during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, she recently appeared on Have You Been Paying Attention?
As always, this episode includes segments such as 'A Note to Self', 'Work in Progress' and 'Weird Fishes', and there are so many gems of wisdom that will seep through your headphones and keep you thinking long after you listen.
