Kara Udziela is an animal communicator, energy alchemist, medical intuitive, and spiritual teacher with over a decade of experience in transforming the lives of thousands of companion animals whose animal guardians carry struggles such as: anxiety, aggression, chronic illness, or the midwifing of death.
Today Kara talks about how giving dogs appropriate jobs can help to calm them down and give them a more aligned job as many people give their dogs jobs (knowingly or unknowingly) that negatively impact their training and well being. She believes too many people give their dogs jobs of being their protectors and healers and what kind of impact that could have on a dog's energy. Today on the Divine Feminine Dog Trainer Podcast I interview one of my favorite dog people on the planet, Emma Best. Emma Best is a dog trainer in Salisbury, Vermont and Owner of Mountain Ridge Dog Pack a dog camp servicing Middlebury, VT and surrounding areas. We also talk about what it's like coming out to dog camp and seeing one in action for the first time, what it was like taking her reactive dog out to dog camp (and how her dog is flourishing now!), how her dog camp exploded when she started it and how she's expanded to helping puppies and dogs that are not ready for dog camp through a day school program. She's also expanded her business with her first employee!

Kathleen Prasad has been pioneering the field of Animal Reiki for over 22 years. She believes dogs are the ones that have the PhD in healing their own bodies and how adding in reiki can allow the dog to choose and lead their own way to healing. All animals are healers and teachers so why not they lead their own way to healing.
I love this podcast because it helps listeners understand what the difference is between reiki for humans vs reiki for animals. I love when Kathleen talks about what it means to be Reiki and different ways to offer reiki to your animals. Pus, how offering too much reiki for animals can feel demanding and overwhelming for them. Rather we can learn to see the perfection in the animal and not judging them for what's wrong with them while offering the love, light, peace through reiki. It's so important to accept our animals where they are on their own healing process.
Reiki is a great place to explore alternative healing modalities for dog trainers and to expand upon your animal communication skills. There's a great chat on how reiki can enhance a dog trainer or animal communicator's skill set in the podcast you won't want to miss.
