Today on the Divine Feminine Dog Trainer Podcast I interview one of my favorite dog people on the planet, Emma Best. Emma Best is a dog trainer in Salisbury, Vermont and Owner of Mountain Ridge Dog Pack a dog camp servicing Middlebury, VT and surrounding areas. Emma has been an integral part of my businesses helping to edit all my online courses. She's a wealth of information on dogs and building businesses at a young age of 25!
Emma talks about leaving her stable cushy job in accounting after graduating from college to become an entrepreneur in the dog field. She talks about how important the Happy Rescue Dogs and My Dog Camp course was for her to start her career in the dog field.
We also talk about what it's like coming out to dog camp and seeing one in action for the first time, what it was like taking her reactive dog out to dog camp (and how her dog is flourishing now!), how her dog camp exploded when she started it and how she's expanded to helping puppies and dogs that are not ready for dog camp through a day school program. She's also expanded her business with her first employee!
