Change is a fascinating topic, it’s all around us all the time. Everything is always changing, but for some reason, as humans, we think we don’t have to or even aren’t supposed to change.

This episode is titled “Allowing Yourself To Change” but it might as well be titled “Allowing Yourself To Be Yourself” because through change we discover who we are.

The only constant in life is change, yet we tend to try to resist that change and essentially resist life by clinging to who we have been or who people expect us to be. But, what if instead of resisting change we embraced it and allowed it to happen freely? What if we celebrated change?

In this week’s episode, Dan & Elise talk about just that. They look at ways in which they have changed, places where they have resisted change and how the more they allow themselves to change, the more clear they become on who they truly are, which in turn makes it easier to continue to give up the things that are holding them back or no longer serving them.

They also discuss and attempt to reconcile the “consistency paradox” and explain how they can champion both consistency and change as vital aspects of living our best life.
