Sympathy Compliments | The Only Way Is Up For The Spurs | Ben Simmons Shut Down

The Daily Dribble

The days are quickly winding down til we have postseason basketball in our lives, therefore Nic and Row returned this week to discuss some of the teams that's season will be ending very shortly... and handing out some sympathy compliments to these teams.

There's already a number of teams whose seasons are rapidly drawing to a close so we thought it would be a great chance to chat about these teams and hand out some positivity to them. In the cases of the San Antonio Spurs, they should find solace in the fact that the only way is up for them. Whilst the front office of the Utah Jazz deserve a very big pat on the back.

We also looked at all the odds & ends from throughout the week, with a big point of discussion being the news that Ben Simmons had been shut down for the remainder of the season. Really starts to throw questions about the viability of him be a positive contributor within the league moving forward.

Continue to stay up with all of our socials for when the latest news breaks from around the league (link below), whilst subscribing wherever you listen to the show so as to never miss another episode.

Playoff Wish Lists | Clippers In Choppy Water | KAT Makes His Return

The countdown is well and truly on as most teams now have less than 10 regular season games to go. Hence the lads thought this would be a good opportunity to put forth their playoff wish lists.

We took the approach of suggesting teams and naming one thing that they need to fix or amend in order to catapult then into title contention. We tackled a heap of opportunities available for these teams, including the Grizzlies being able to curb Dillion Brooks enthusiasm for shooting and the Kings leaky defence.

The fellas also discussed some of the key talking points from throughout the week, notably how the Clippers are in choppy water due to the recent injury to Paul George. As well as the long awaited return of KAT to aid in the Wolves playoff push.

We're very appreciative of all the continued support. If you want to ensure you catch all the latest news from around the league as we approach the playoffs, be sure to subscribe to all of our socials via the link below.

NBL Free Agency Kicks Off | Pinder Is Heading West | Bullets Fire Their Shot

Nic returned this week for our NBL focused show, with the main topic of discussion being focused on the start of the NBL free agency period kicking off.

News has been coming thick and fast, with no piece more league altering than the news that Keanu Pinder is heading west. Therefore creating one of the leagues most devastating duos, alongside Bryce Cotton. The Perth Wildcats will no doubt be a team to be reckoned with next season.

We also look at Brisbane firing their free agency shot, landing two key cogs of last seasons JackJumpers roster. Both Sam McDaniel and Isaac White set to ply their trade in the sunshine state... Much to our chagrin.

The season might have wrapped up, but the news is still coming thick and fast. Therefore, be sure to stay up to date with all of our social (link below) for when anything from around the league breaks.
