Podcast Q&A

Why did you start this show?

I grew up attending summer camp and have a lot of nostalgia about that time in my life, so I’ve been wanting to write something set at a camp for a while now. I got into fiction podcasting a few years ago and realized what a great option it is for getting a series made, and that audiences are looking for full cast series to get into. It made perfect sense for this project, which follows a woman who is trying to solve the cold case of her best friend’s murder.

What do you hope listeners gain from listening to your show?

I hope they enjoy the mystery aspect of the series, and the spooky campfire stories that are told throughout the show. A message of the series for me is that we don’t often know each other’s problems as well as we might think. Someone can appear to have a perfect life but be struggling on the inside, so always look a little deeper.

Which episode should someone start with?

The pilot episode! It is called That Same Road that Brought You Here.

Which have been your favourite episodes so far?

I personally love episode 7, The Dance. There’s a big reveal at the end of that episode that I think is very exciting and fun… but you’ll have to listen to find out what it is!

Which episode are you most proud of?

The finale episode, With A Capital P. Because this is a mystery, tying up all the loose ends as a writer was a big task and I’m proud of how it wrapped up.

Tell us a bit about yourself

I started out as an actress and then became a writer & producer, though I actually do voice the character of Margot in the show!
