The Creepcast with Bri & Ber

This week Bri & Ber learn about a banshee like creature from Scottish folklore, the Bean-Nighe! They go over the meaning of her name, how she makes laundry more sinister, and the different rewards you get if you can get the jump on her. All while they reminisce about 90s commercials and song lyrics.

This week Bri and Ber discuss another well known female ghost type, the Lady in Red. They go over what history causes a ghost to be a Lady in Red and the sightings of these spirits all over the world.

This week Bri & Ber discuss another monster of Native American folklore, the Wendigo. They go over how to spot one, wendigo psychosis, why the myth is important, and of course it's appearance in pop culture.

This week Bri & Ber look into a well known snow spirit in Japanese folklore, the Yuki-onna! They go over the multiple versions of well known stories, how you know you've encountered a Yuki-onna, and how there's nothing you could do to defend yourself because Yuki-onnas don't care about rules. Bri also drops a hint about what unnecessary things she wants for as presents.

This week Bri & Ber start their winter themed topics off exploring a house spirit of Scandinavian folklore, the Nisse! They go over it's origins, how to keep your Nisse happy, what the consequences could be if you upset it, and how it's shifted to be a creature that delivers presents during Yule. As well as revisit Ber's need for a black goat with a beard.
