Eliza Reisfeld is a well rounded talented artist who is able to do illustration, sculpting, writing, 2D and 3D art and has published some books and currently working on her new book. She has experience making toys, creating amazing stories as a Story Developer and is a Co-Founder of Rogue Mark Studios, which happens to be an animation studio.

#31: INTERVIEW W/ ANDREW HICKINBOTTOM: 3D Character Design
Andrew Hickinbottom is a 3D artist focused on modelling, character design & illustration. He’s based in London and has over 20 years of experience in the industry of animation & advertising. He started 3D as a hobby when videogames started to use 3D graphics and Toy Story came up (around 1995). He did a career in Graphic Design for 3 years and realized that it wasn’t his best choice, however thanks to that he was able to get into a job in a company that made a video for Iron Maiden where he learned more about 3D.
We found Andrew Hickinbottom art through CTNX last year, he has been going for the last 4 years since he felt the events in London were somehow limited to fan arts and comics and he found in CTNX more freedom for original creativity. By being a pioneer in 3D he was in a luxury position where he could get jobs easily for his art.

Sam Deats is the Creative Director of Powerhouse Animation studio and is the Director of Netflix’s Castlevania animated series. He has also worked in the video games of Darksiders & Battle Chasers working with Joe Madureira. He’s also a talented animator, illustrator, character designer and a Storyboard artist. Skills he used in Castlevania as he created the concept arts, storyboards and helped in the animation of the series.
Sam Deats was able to get into Powerhouse Animation when they were starting out and were a small team, and through them he was able to learn a lot about business, the industry, several art forms and styles and ended up working on many international projects. He’s a big fan of video games and Japanese anime, he’s been playing Castlevania since the first one came out and has played all of them, which ended up helping him to better understand the universe of the series and having many influences to inspire his art.
