I had the pleasure of interviewing Kasia Avery, the cofounder of Everything Art and host of Wanderlust in this candid episode where she shares her art "origin story" and how Everything Art came into being!
Capturing the moment and sensations is everything to Kasia - her language is art. She paints, collages and art journals to figure out her past, present and future. She scribbles, spills, tears, paints and writes to let the emotions out. She asks questions and works out her answers through colour, texture, patterns and dynamic connections between contradictions. Kasia's work is a perfect reflection of her everyday reality - the colours and subjects reveal the connections that she makes between her past and now.
Kasia has taught mixed-media in-person and online since 2011. Kasia runs Everything Art Ltd together with her husband Jamie.

Episode 08: The Craftermath - with guest Erica Andersson
The Craftermath Podcast
07/10/21 • 97 min
Today I am joined by my friend Erica Andersson who is the personification of sunshine and rainbows!
Erica is primarily a card maker, but anything crafty that gets her mojo flowing, she’s into colours, textures and layers make her happy!
If you want a serious crafter, she’s not your girl. She don’t take herself too seriously, and she thinks it’s important to show your mistakes along the way and how to fix them. Whilst poking fun at herself, of course. And we’ll talk more about her shenanigans in this episode.
