This show and it's format is a breath of fresh air. The chemistry between Alex and Julio is real and it leads some really great conversations between the two. A must listen.

Even though Contrarian’s Corner is sometimes facetious, Alex and Julio always bring up some thought provoking ideas that I hadn’t thought of before when watching the movie they’re discussing. Not to mention that Alex drops a ton of professional wrestling references and I feel like I understand his points on another level. Probably the most unique movie podcast out there. If you’ve never listened then you don’t know, so you probably should. And then you will.

If I ever want to feel both smarter than I am, yet humbled by my own lack of knowledge, these are my go to guys. Not only are they the most well informed duo when it comes to cinema, they talk about it in a way that dreams are made of. At least this guy's dreams. Not a single bad episode (even if the films they cover hit some pretty low lows). My podcasting soulmates!

Julio & Alex are one of the greats in Indie podcasting and somehow are super chill about it. From critically acclaimed to decidedly voted lame, every and any film can get the classic Contrarians treatment. Strong recommend!
