The Constitutional Entrepreneur

The Constitutional Entrepreneur

Ryan Chamberlin

America was founded on Entrepreneurial principles, and our Constitution, crafted by entrepreneurs, is the business plan for the United States success. Unfortunately many of our elected officials have never owned a business and the more we deviate from these principles the more dysfunctional America becomes.

This podcast explores entrepreneurial principles from the lens of what makes America great! Those wanting to take their life and business to the next level will learn new ideas and best practices through interviews of successful entrepreneurs, influencers and elected officials who share common values.

What is a Constitutional Entrepreneur?
A constitutional entrepreneur believes that entrepreneurial and Godly principles are foundational to the success of the United States. Thus by growing and fostering entrepreneurism in the United States, you strengthen the fabric of who we are. Solutions to much of America’s problems are processed through this belief system.
About The Host

Ryan Chamberlin is an author, speaker, and successful businessman turned political advocate. For 25 years he built and consulted in the affiliate, direct sales, and relationship marketing industry. He is a best selling author of 5 books with a focus on leadership development, growth strategies, and team building and in 2023 he was elected to the Florida House of Representative. He lives in central Florida with his wife of 30 years and 4 adult children.

Conclusion:

Let’s face it: our government is bankrupt. If it were a business, it would be out of business. We need to run our government like a business, with checks, balances, and accountability. Unlike businesses, our government can print unlimited money to stay afloat. It's time to return to the constitutional entrepreneurial principles the United States was founded on.

Patriot's Leadership Digest: Military Insights for Entrepreneurial Success
Dear Fellow Patriots and Entrepreneurial Leaders,
I am thrilled to share with you the latest insights from our recent podcast episode, where we delve into the powerful intersection of military leadership and entrepreneurial success. This episode features the remarkable Matt Parr, a former military personnel turned successful entrepreneur, and another insightful contributor who sheds light on the nuances of military leadership in the private sector.
Key Takeaways from the Episode:
Self-Leadership as the Foundation:
Matt Parr emphasizes that true leadership begins with self-leadership. He shares, "A leader of one myself may someday be a leader of men, but if you can't lead one yourself, you probably won't lead." This underscores the importance of personal accountability and self-discipline.
Building Extraordinary Teams:
Regardless of your business type, success hinges on creating extraordinary teams. The military's structured approach to team building, such as the "12-man A-team," can be a game-changer in the entrepreneurial world.
Four Key Military Lessons for Entrepreneurs:
Don’t Wear Your Rank on Your Sleeves: Leadership is about earning respect and trust, not relying on titles.
Use the Knowledge of Others: Great leaders leverage their team's strengths and expertise.
Respect Others but Call Them Out Privately: Maintain respect while providing constructive feedback in private.
Plan but Don’t Expect the Plan to Work: Stay flexible and adaptable, as challenges will inevitably arise.
Misconceptions About Military Leadership:
Our third speaker clarifies that effective military leadership is not just about command and control. It involves building trust and providing context, fostering a collaborative environment.
Matt Parr’s Journey:
Matt shares his inspiring journey from military service to entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of mental strength and belief in oneself. His story is a testament to the power of resilience and determination.
Overcoming Mental Hurdles:
Drawing parallels between military and business challenges, Matt encourages entrepreneurs to push beyond perceived limits. He shares the powerful analogy of Roger Bannister breaking the four-minute mile, illustrating the importance of belief in achieving extraordinary results.
The Role of Self-Development:
Successful entrepreneurs must first work on themselves before effectively leading others. Surrounding oneself with supportive and talented individuals is crucial for overcoming self-doubt and achieving success.
Call to Action:
Reflect on your own leadership practices and take actionable steps toward building your A-Team. Embrace the principles of self-leadership, team building, and mental resilience to navigate the challenges of the business world with confidence.
I invite you to listen to this episode and join us on this journey of growth and leadership. Together, we can build stronger teams and achieve greater success.

Dear Patriots and Thought Leaders,
What is a Constitional Entrepreneur
This episode is particularly special as it features a dynamic conversation with Ryan, an entrepreneur turned political candidate, and Josh, who brings his own insightful perspectives to the table. Here are the key takeaways from our discussion:
The Entrepreneurial Mindset in Politics
Ryan's Bold Assertion: Elected officials who have never owned a business should not dictate how entrepreneurs operate. This statement resonated deeply with a crowd of a thousand entrepreneurs in Dallas, Texas, earning a standing ovation.
Problem-Solving Approach: Entrepreneurs wake up each day with the understanding that their success depends on their ability to solve problems and create value, a mindset that is often missing in traditional political circles.
Defining a Constitutional Entrepreneur
Foundational Principles: Ryan believes that the United States was founded by entrepreneurs and that the principles embedded in the Constitution reflect an entrepreneurial spirit essential for the country's success.
Disconnect in Governance: There is a growing gap between elected officials and the realities faced by entrepreneurs, leading to decisions that may not always support business growth and innovation.
Historical Context and Modern Implications
Framers as Entrepreneurs: The framers of the Constitution were primarily entrepreneurs who understood the stakes involved in their decisions. This entrepreneurial mindset was prevalent during the founding era.
Shift in Landscape: Today, a small percentage of the population owns businesses, while the majority are employees. Despite this shift, the entrepreneurial spirit remains a driving force in the U.S. economy.
Impact of Constitutional Principles on Entrepreneurship
Risk of Erosion: Ryan warns that when constitutional principles come under attack, the very fabric of the nation is at risk. Increased regulations and restrictions could stifle innovation and growth.
Stable Environment: Entrepreneurs rely on a stable and supportive environment to thrive, and any departure from foundational values could redefine what it means to be American.
Insights from Political Experience
Financial Decisions: Critical discussions often revolve around how taxpayer money is allocated, reflecting the values of both individuals and governments.
Disconnect in Perspectives: There is often a disconnect between the perspectives of entrepreneurs and those who have not owned businesses, leading to conflicting ideas about investment and priorities.
The Importance of Personal Development
Continuous Growth: Ryan emphasizes the importance of personal development among elected officials. Those who prioritize personal growth are better equipped to lead effectively.
Law of the Lid: An individual's level of influence is directly related to their personal growth. Elected officials who focus on developing their skills can create a more positive impact on their communities and the nation.
A Vision for the Future
Community of Constitutional Entrepreneurs: Ryan envisions a community of individuals who are proud to be American and committed to upholding the principles that have made the country great.
Challenging Thinking: By fostering discussions around these topics, we aim to challenge the thinking of both entrepreneurs and elected officials, encouraging them to consider the long-term implications of their decisions.
Stay tuned, stay engaged, and let's continue to champion the spirit of the constitutional entrepreneur.
