The Color Of Air

This week Greg is talking with Kim Dylla of Kylla Custom Rock Wear. Kim has been the clothing designer of choice for many metal bands and professional wrestlers over the last decade or so and her visually stunning work can be seen on bands like King Diamond, Cradle of Filth, Machine Head, Overkill, Kreator, etc. as well as wrestlers like Bray Wyatt, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Ruby Riott, and Tamina amongst many others! We discuss the beginnings of her career in designing stage and ring gear, the ideal fabrics for stage gear vs ring gear, how she would like to expand her company, how she fits her work into the very travel heavy life she loves to lead, her various music projects (you may remember her as Vulvatron in GWAR), and of course, all the usual tangents!

Please support Kim at the following sites:

https://kyllacustomrockwear.com

Music Played:

  1. Shadow - The Burned Over
  2. Lady Silence - The Burned Over

This is a Ret Con Industries production.

Episode 65 - Se'nam Palmer

This week Greg is talking with guitarist/composer Se’Nam Palmer of the band Crispin Wah. Se’Nam is amazingly gifted and technically proficient guitarist and mixes those amazing shred chops with crazy sound design to create a whole other vibe to his music which gets referred to as “shredgaze.” We talk about his history with the instrument, how he ended up growing so fond of the Shrapnel and shred movements from the 80’s, the vibrant and diverse Atlanta music scene, and much much more along with all the usual tangents. Also please forgive some of the audio issues as we had some technical interference which messed with the recording of the episode.
