Fun Fact
While Wolfgang was young, his family made several European journeys in which he and his sister Nannerl performed as child prodigies. These began with an exhibition in 1762 at the court of Prince-elector Maximilian III of Bavaria in Munich, and at the Imperial Courts in Vienna and Prague.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is widely regarded as the first genius child composer, having completed roughly 120 works before the age of sixteen.
On his first visit to London, at only 8 years old, young Mozart attracted the attention of Daines Barrington a, so called, intellectual of the time. It was agreed that Barrington would examine Mozart’s musical abilities by subjecting him to a number of tests.
