We use the word “unity” often in speaking of the church in the city, but are we truly unified, and around what? How do we become unifiers when so much of the church is disenfranchised from each other? In this episode we first explore what the word “church” meant to the apostles in the First century, and who exactly was to be demonstrating “unity in Christ. In our lifetimes so many have left the “organized” church; why is that and what can be done to see the “exiles” united with the family of God? Repairing the breach in our walls is essential for each of us in order to see the church become a “culture-changer” in the city again. Jon Petersen's books 'Unravelled' [CityForce, 2018] and 'Unveiled' [CityForce 2019] are available on Amazon, and you can connect with Jon and Ken at www.cityforce.org/ They would love to hear from you.
