With movies like X, Pearl, The Menu, Black Phone, Barbarian, Sissy, and others all released within the past year to critical and commerical acclaim, 2022 might just be the year of the horror film. We've got our picks for best and of course worst horror films as well (looking at you Halloween Ends!!).

In what has become a yearly tradition here at The Cinema Psychos Show, our first major episode of the year is our breakdown of the year that was 2022. In the film industry, this year had something for just about everybody. Do you want some corporate drama about a media empire's take over of a streaming service and subsequently culling loads of content (some of which leans more in the diversity section, or maybe you wanted to see a beloved actor from the '90's strike a comedian on national television? If movies are more your game, well we've got everything from wizards battling witches, yellow pill shaped merchanising machines, and dinosaurs....of course.
So if you are as exhausted by 2022 as we were, reminisce with us as we say adeu to the year that was 2022.

This week, we are joined by "Cannibal" Cam Schwarz of Rabid Dog Films and we're taking a look at the cult classic, "Zombi Holocaust" AKA "Doctor Butcher MD (Medical Deviant).
Released in 1980, this low-budget Italian film follows a group of scientists and medical professionals as they investigate a series of mysterious disappearances on a remote island in the Pacific. But as they soon discover, the island is overrun with zombies created by a mad scientist experimenting with voodoo and cannibalism.
While the acting and special effects may not be top-notch, "Zombi Holocaust" embraces its B-movie status and delivers a deliciously campy and entertaining experience. The film's pacing may be slow at times, but the cheesy charm more than makes up for it.
Fans of bad movies, this is one you don't want to miss.
