115-Sam The Chimp's Lawyer

04/22/20 • 36 min

The Cincy Shirts Podcast

Jim Sheets was the attorney for Sam the Chimp. Actually, he was hired by Sam’s owner, Kenny Harris, who also owned the Train Stop Inn and Cafe in what used to be called Foster. That's where Sam could be found occasionally hanging out with bar patrons. The bar is just east of Landen on the bike trail and today is called the Monkey Cafe. Kenny and Sam found themselves in some legal trouble brought on by the Humane Society and Jim represented them. Jim not only tells us all about that but about a famous athlete who hired him for a similar case, this one involving the ownership of tigers.
