01/20/22 • 120 min
In this episode of The Chris and Andre Show, the guys introduce their new look for 2022, bring back their Quick Hits segment, and spend the rest of the time talking business, with topics including store credit cards, CBD, The NFL's obsession with gambling apps, and how society deems what it legal or not. Lastly, they wade into the political waters to rehash some of their biggest complaints about TFG, then shift focus to why it is the Democrats can't seem to govern anything, at all.

(00:33:44) Business - This week’s main topic is business, with Chris sharing his recent nightmare of an experience with Synchrony Bank while Andre laughs at him, the guys discussing the growing CBD business in North Carolina and give a shoutout to Persephone’s Farm, a local grower in Wilmington, NC. They also spend some time wondering why the NFL is so comfortable with gambling now and how it is that society decides what is legal and what is not.
(01:18:47) Politics - (No, there’s no topic intro here because the guys managed to shift somewhat seamlessly from business to politics, but let’s just let them have their fun) The guys can’t keep themselves from discussing TFG for a bit, but manage to shift their focus towards the current GOP structure, and then to the inability of Democratic party members to govern at almost any level.

The Chris and Andre Show
12/09/21 • 112 min

(00:00:00) Intros - FireGuyJoe is back again as the guys struggle with the AWS outage and have to resort to Zoom instead of their usual riverside.fm comforts. We apologize for the quality and single camera feed, but we should be back to normal next week!
(00:02:40) Politics - The guys start things off on the “downer” subjects this week by discussing gun safety laws following the most recent school shooting in Michigan, then congratulate Republicans on embracing their racist tendencies by selecting a former KKK member to run for office in Georgia, and Idaho official who is upset about a “black” Hershey’s commercial, and Lauren Boebert... continues to be herself.

This leads to a bigger discussion about vigilantism as a whole and whether it’s ever okay to take the law into your own hands, then Andre explains why he feels the media continues to berate President Biden and Chris says it’s because they miss the last guy.
Finally, Chris Cuomo getting fired by CNN has Andre feeling some sort of way and the guys all discuss the better news source options out there (that won’t have you taking horse dewormer).
