14: Getting a Mental AND Physical Six-Pack with Ben Azadi
The ChipChat Podcast
04/15/21 • 65 min
Howdy you beautiful soul!
I love that I get to introduce you to a light in the world, my dear friend Ben Azadi.
One of his best-known ideas: "You don't lose weight to get healthy, you get healthy to lose weight."
Ben has been my personal coach for health this year. Since the beginning of the year, I've lost over 20 pounds off of the scale (probably more fat than that as I THINK I'm gaining muscle, too). More importantly, I have a TON of energy (which was my Quarter 1 BIG goal), I'm thinking more clearly, and I'm sleeping like a CHAMP--hopefully, you heard the last ChipChat Episode on putting you to sleep!
Ben has a brand new book that launched this week, you can find out all about it at www.KetoFlexBook.comAnd you can also find out all about Ben's Keto Kamp program (I am a member!) at www.KetoKamp.com
If life, health, and finding a Hero's Journey are important to you at all--

09: Make Love and Relationship Magic! A heart to heart with Neil and Hunter Moore!
The ChipChat Podcast
03/11/21 • 80 min
Howdy, you beautiful Soul!
Well, today is the day we FINALLY get the second installment of the beautiful and radiant couple: Hunter and Neil Moore!
We talk about making relationship magic again as promised in the last episode with these wonderful humans. We talk about the relationship trinity they say is necessary for having such an exquisite love affair:
- How being LIKEABLE is the key to create the relationships we want.
- What we need to do to stay in ALIGNMENT with your loved one.
- And how to have CLARITY in your closest relationship.
Neil also gives a fantastic exercise that we can do with our spouse/loved one that will have them (and YOU) feeling so, so very good. I love this one.
Then--after this conversation with Hunter and Neil, I jump back on to give you three relationship tips that have been so very good in the relationship with my bride, Laura (whom I call Angel). One of them is a little TOO transparent...but whatevs. I'm pretty much an open book and I'm just hoping that it helps the right person for this.
SO--press play on this episode and learn these relationship secrets to make our love life so much better.
You are loved and deserving,
Chip Franks ❤️👍
P.S. I mention this in the episode--but I'd just LOVE to have your feedback on this and the other ChipChat episodes. Send me an email at [email protected] and let me know what you like, what you don't like, and maybe IF ANYTHING has been something good to make your life a little better with this podcast. How to Rise from Humble Beginnings to Huge Success with John Meija
The ChipChat Podcast
10/30/22 • 68 min
Hey you Beautiful Soul!
This week we're talking with my long-time friend John Meija--he's such a good human being, and you're about to hear that.
He has come so far, from such humble...I guess we can say this--truly awful beginnings in life. He had it bad, and he was kind enough to detail his rise from those wretched days as a youth into a wealthy--in every sense of the word--family and businessman.
I'm guessing after you finish this, you just may want more John in your life. That's understandable. You can follow him on Facebook on his personal and business pages to keep up with him, as his story NEEDS to reach a lot of people.
His personal page on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/john.mejia.796Here is one of his new, inspiring videos he is doing to help others.
And lastly--his professional business page. Take a look at it, and if you'd like to invest in what John is doing, you can do it here: ProvidenceInvestments.comWhat did you think of this episode? Send me a message at [email protected] to let me know! I love to get feedback on these.
How to Retire and Live on a Beach with Victor Garner
The ChipChat Podcast
10/17/22 • 91 min
Hello, you Beautiful Souls!
Today we talk to a dear friend--someone I've known since we were maybe 5-6 years old (?!)--and now, through the miracle of modern technology we get to have a great conversation from two different countries.
So, we get to come full circle and have a conversation about all of this...from time in Central Texas as little children to retiring to a beach and doing what you want to do every day when you wake up.
We get into how exactly to do that, and what it's like--seeing spray from a whale from your house, people stealing asphalt from roads, and what the future hold when you've "retired."
You'll see this, but Victor is an amazing human soul. He's got such a good heart and an equally wicked wit, so we laugh a lot.
As always--let me know what you think and join the conversation by emailing me at [email protected].
As always, remember that you are loved and deserving!

The Power of I AM, a $200K+ Lesson with Scott Law
The ChipChat Podcast
09/29/22 • 100 min
Hello Beautiful Soul!
WOW--the ChipChat Podcast is back for Season 2...and we have an absolutely AMAZING show with Scott Law, my dear friend, husband, dad to eight (!), entrepreneur extraordinaire, and philanthropist.
You're going to love this man.
As accomplished and amazing as he is...he's one of the most humble people I know. He's also come from a past of doubting himself, the imposter syndrome, and self-defeating thinking, which is really something considering what an exceptional human being he is.
In this far-ranging conversation, we go over that, the unusual way we met, coaching, and most importantly--HOW TO ERASE SELF-DEFEATING THINKING with the power of "I AM" statements.
I learned so much from this conversation, and I know you will, too.
Note: Scott very graciously offered his email address for people to contact him regarding their own journeys with this kind of thinking. You can contact Scott at:
[email protected]
But when you do this, you need to say something nice about ME in your email, hahahaa!
You are loved and deserving! ❤️👍
A Talk With 80 year-old Chip: Getting Out of a Funk!
The ChipChat Podcast
08/24/21 • 56 min
Howdy, you beautiful soul!
Today I'm sharing something that's very personal to me.
It's a conversation I had--in my journal--with my 80-year-old self.
I had this conversation with myself this past weekend, and I wanted to share it with you, too. It's what my older, much wiser, self-actualized version of me would say to me right now,
AND I would suggest that you try this as well.
I also detail my "Mighty 5" Appreciation technique, which has been so powerful for me. It's how I like to start and finish my day, and I can't wait for you to try it. It's the way I set up my day the right way and how I "bookend" my day to end the day the right way, too.
I even share two of my Mighty Five lists with you.
Deep gratitude and appreciation is how we love everything in life more, and I will detail that for you now.
Hey--if you're reading this, can you hit me up at [email protected] and let me know...
1) If this was useful for you, and/or
2) What else you'd like me to talk about in these podcasts.
I'd love to hear from you.
THANK YOU!
As we talk about a LOT in this, WE are loved and WE are deserving!

Julie Reisler, Soul Sister, Resonance, and Getting Woo Woo...
The ChipChat Podcast
08/11/21 • 131 min
Hey there you beautiful soul!
You have asked for her--and The ChipChat Podcast (say the word!) has delivered!
We have the magnificent Julie Reisler on the show and talking with me in a VERY DEEP conversation about leading a better life.
Julie is a wife, a mom, and a hugely successful coach, podcast host, and author. She's written two books, including "Getting a Ph.D. in You," and the business edition of that book.
She's been featured on about a bajillion media outlets to include ABC, FOX, The New York Times, Forbes, and she also gave a few TedX talks. She's also amassed a following of tens of thousands on the Insight Timer app, one of my favorites for meditation.
Her You-est You Podcast is listened to by many thousands, and as I learned she's even on the faculty of the prestigious Georgetown University!
In this conversation about leading a better life, we jump off of the deep end very quickly and talk about Intuition and how to use it. We talk about the Law of Resonance, and the practical as well as the "Woo Woo."
It was an amazing talk, and I'm thrilled to introduce you to my SoulSis, Julie Reisler.
You can also find her at JulieReisler.com!
Please remember that you are loved and deserving!

Addiction, Being Homeless, and TURNING IT AROUND with Ed Kressy
The ChipChat Podcast
06/25/21 • 128 min
Howdy, you Beautiful Soul!
This is an absolutely amazing talk I had with a unique and wonderful individual by the name of Ed Kressy.
Ed was introduced to me by my buddy Akhay...he said (I'm paraphrasing), "Chip, you stunningly handsome man (which is weird coming from my buddy, but whatevs)--you have GOT to talk to Ed!"
His story is nearly unbelievable, and you will hear how he went from a good life to scraping the very bottom of human existence in a life of rampant drug addiction and homelessness--
To turning it all around, getting recognized by the FBI for the work he's done with prison inmates, and helping others.
I know you'll get a lot out of this one. We go over ALL kinds of self-improvement techniques, and how we can go from a quite awful experience in life to the thrill of being truly fulfilled.
You can find out much more about Ed at www.AuthorEdKressy.com
15: Starting Over (and How to Do It) and Getting Everything you Want with...IPOD.
The ChipChat Podcast
04/23/21 • 53 min
Howdy, you beautiful, fearfully, and wonderfully made Soul!
This week was another solo Chip-i-sode where I answer another great question from someone who is "Starting Over" at age 43, and what my advice is for that.
I also go over an excellent thought process that has made a difference in my life. I learned the root of this with a several hundred dollar, twelve+ hour course, and you get it HERE, for free...
Aaaaaaand...it's an improved version of what I learned originally as it's been refined over many years and lots of usages by myself and some others. It's called IPOD. More on that in a second.
First of all, here is an article by the amazing Derek Sivers that I reference in this podcast, it was so good for me and I love that I get to share it...
It's called "How to Do What You Love and Make Good Money."
Then, I move on to the thought process of IPOD. It stands for:
Intention
Purpose
Obstacles
Design
And it's a way to approach most anything of significance in our lives. Having an important conversation? Starting a project? Want to have a fantastic weekend? Want to set up the most amazing, romantic date ever for your lover?
Use IPOD!!!
Some of what we cover:
- The concept of educational investment.
- The origins of IPOD.
- A philosophy of living, deep intention with no attachment.
- The difference between outcomes and intention.
- When the why gets big, the how gets easy.
- Anticipating what could go wrong in advance.
- Why it's better on paper.
- The importance of design.
- Form follows function.
- The Idea List.
And a lot more, jam-packed and dripping with useful, strategic information guaranteed to make life better or all of the money for this podcast will be doubled and refunded. Hahahaha.
Seriously, take a listen!
Let me know what you think, as always!
You are LOVED and DESERVING!
Chip ❤️👍
