Reading over 300+ applications for our scholarship was a privilege. Their stories were all different but the same. They had the theme of perseverance, hard work, sacrifice and a better opportunity of a better life.
We thought we were going to help at least 5 students with their expenses. But in the end over 300 applications ended up helping us.
If our flame was ever dying these 300 applications poured gasoline. Our fire is stronger than ever to help keep our culture and traditions alive
