Welcome to the inaugural episode of The Campfire Chat! In this episode, we get to know Andrew and Daniel a bit, announce our 2020 summer camp theme, talk upcoming events, and chat about how you can support Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca as we close out 2019!

Back from a long hiatus (almost 8 months!) Andrew and Daniel talk about the unique challenges this year and trying to get things back to normal. We take a look back at what summer camp was like in the midst of a pandemic and from there go into the incredible derecho storm that hit Camp Io-Dis-E-Ca and Eastern Iowa. We talk about the storm itself, cleaning up, and our mission to aid recovery efforts. Check out a few videos that show some of the storm damage that has become visible and a “Thank You” video for #givingtuesday. Down below you can also see pictures on summer camp and the storm damage. At the end, check out the snowball fight where Andrew totally got destroyed.
