After two losses at the end of the week the Rangers play-off chances are dwindling by the day. Can they still make a run at a playoff spot? This week we are joined by one of the most feared players of his era Darius Kasparaitis. Lots of New York Rangers action this last week! Barclay Goodrow is officially a Ranger for 6 years, Pavel Buchnevich was traded to St Louis for Sammy Blais and a draft pick, Tony DeAngelo was officially bought out, Colin Blackwell was taken by Seattle in the Expansion Draft and the Rangers drafted 8 new prospects at the NHL Entry Draft. The Jack Eichel rumors continue and new rumors surrounding Ryan Strome are picking up. We have two awesome guests again this week. Our first guest is the voice of the Tampa Bay Lightning Dave Randorf. Dave talks about the Rangers acquisition of Barclay Goodrow and he shares his thoughts on why Rangers fans will love him. With the sports worlds attention now shifted to the Tokyo Olympics our second guest is 2018 US Hockey Olympian and former New York Rangers player Chad Kolarik. Chad talked about his playing days at Michigan, the grind of the AHL, playing in the NHL, his experience with the Rangers organization, playing overseas and of course his Olympic experience.

The NHL is now under a Covid lockdown. Following a week of team shutdowns, the league is now instituting a league-wide shutdown from December 22nd to 26th. The Rangers currently only have one positive case so hopefully, it ends there, and the shutdown with help the rest of the league get their positives under control. We are joined this week by former New York Ranger and German hockey legend John Tripp. John had quite the journey to the NHL, grinding it out for six and half years in the minors before making his NHL debut with the Rangers. After 7 professional seasons in North America, including 43 NHL games, John left to play in Germany. Tripp would become a German hockey legend, playing 12 seasons in the German leagues, he represented Germany in over 110 international games, including 6 World Championships and the 2010 Olympics. John had an incredible career and tells some great stories from his long 19-year professional career.

The Rangers continued their hot start to the season thanks to a final second goal by Ryan Lindgren. The Rangers have a serious backup goalie problem that they need to address soon.
