About Dj Sa

You don’t become one of India’s Top 3 DJs (INCA 2019) without putting in the work, and there’s no one who works the console harder than DJ SA.  The country’s premier Hip Hop/Trap DJ, SA has redefined the genre for urban Indian youth and made it relevant again, not only through his music but also his influence as a bonafide street style aficionado and discerning sneaker-head.  

Understanding the deep ties between his music style and the tide of underground fashion is why he has been chosen as one of GQ India 100 Best Dressed People 2018 and put on the Indian Sneaker Society’s list of Top 5 Indian Sneakerheads. Steadily taking his passion to a whole new audience, SA also collaborated with Levi’s for the launch campaign of Tapered denims range as well as brought his signature sound to the Reebok Aztrek, Adidas Nite Jogger, and Adidas Space Station launch.  

SA’s instinctive mixes and a keen eye for trends ensures he is always up to something, which is why he has played closing sets at festivals like VH1 Supersonic 2020, Zomaland, Bangalore and Pune 2019, Grub Fest, Delhi 2019, Bira91 April Fools Fest, Delhi 2019 and Rider Mania, Goa 2019.  

Voted ‘India's best Hip Hop DJ’ at the inaugural VH1 MyFav Awards, he’s packed in numerous appearances at festivals like NH7 Weekender, VH1 Supersonic, Guestlist4Good, Red Bull Tour Bus #OffTheRoof, Soledition, Timeout 72, and Goa Sunsplash 2019. Opening for and playing alongside Machine Gun Kelly and Jaden Smith, he has also shared the stage with legends like Snoop Dogg, Akon, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, Sean Kingston, Macklemore, Skrillex, DJ Snake, Major Lazer, Chamillionaire among others.
