We start off by talking about journalists who employ "lazy journalism" by posting clickbait headlines with no actual substance. Rita talks through the post of one political commentator who is celebrating that "the tides are turning" with vaccine mandates and calling on all healthcare workers who lost their jobs to stand up, lawyer up and sue. You'll want to hear Rita's reaction.

We then dived into morality part 2, as a continuation of last week's episode. Culture is driving morality very purposefully in an immoral direction.

We then dive into MAID (medical assistance in dying, aka: assisted suicide) in Canada. This is a major moral issue as well, and this slope is not just slippery, it has been fully slid down.

The Boom Clap Podcast - EPISODE 76: Minnesota Nursing Strike
play

09/19/22 • 44 min

Going past the headline: “15,000 Nurses Strike.”

Why are nurses striking?

Is the the union actually bargaining for improved patient safety or patients before profits?

Do these strikes address mandates & the poor treatment of unvaccinated nurses or is that an inaccurate assumption?

Who is leading the union charge? We look at the union president. Did you know she was appointed to Biden’s COVID Equity Committee?

SB 1567: Are federally governed staffing ratios the answer?

This episode isn’t to sway your opinion of the strike, rather to go past the headlines and look at the whole picture before forming an opinion.

In this bonus episode, we hear the story of a honeymoon gone awry. Well, just the return trip went wrong... thankfully not the whole honeymoon. Josh and Acacia tell us the story of how they were denied boarding their return flight, had to spend extra days in Mexico, were threatened with being denied boarding on their second attempt at coming home, and then chose to refuse to fill out the ArriveCan app despite being threatened with jail time and up to a million dollars in fines.

Tawny has been outspoken for her patients and her career. We discuss the termination of her and many other‘s jobs due to declining the vaccine. Tawny also gives us a picture into her experience in a pediatric cardiac ICU at Rady Children’s which was a trial site for the Moderna Vaccine. You have to hear this, it’s shocking but not surprising that there was no plan for reporting adverse reactions or follow up of patients who were injured once discharge for the purpose of studying the vaccine. Stick around to the end. We ask Tawny what sets her apart as actually willing to take a stand. This is something all parents can learn from as our children are all going to have to know how to be strong. Tawny mentions “LGE” meaning late gadolinium enhancement in MRI which was not done as inpatient in this population and therefore not included in the data recorded on outcomes of these children with myocarditis. Here is an article on LGE: https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s00330-019-06643-5. https://www.givesendgo.com/radynurses FIND US: https://instagram.com/nursingsoulfulheartsd https://instagram.com/ritarogersco https://instagram.com/cecily.dickey www.theboomclapcommunity.com SPONSOR: https://readkaleidoscope.com Code: BOOMCLAP to save 10%

A Pfizer exec. admits the vaccine wasn't tested to prevent transmission.

The AICP met, and unanimously voted to add the COVID vaccine to the childhood schedule (then the CDC followed suit a day after recording).

More gain of function anyone? Boston University continues down the dangerous road.

We discuss all the reasons the vaccine SHOULD NOT be added to the schedule, the lack of study around transmission actually NOT being news at all and the madness of repeating past mistakes.

We create many of our own problems and PRIDE is at the root of each one addressed today.

The Boom Clap Podcast - EPISODE 86: Ethics Professor, Dr. Julie Ponesse
play

11/21/22 • 71 min

In this episode, we interview Dr. Julie Ponesse, a former ethics professor. Dr. Ponesse went viral in September 2021 when she made a video questioning the ethics of vaccine mandates. During this interview, we discussed society's intent to become "pure, invincible, immortal and safe." But how does a population come to agree on that utopia? We discuss censorship, transhumanism, and how, in order to be approved as a "tolerant" person, you must also actively promote the "approved" agendas.

While we knew this would be an excellent interview, we were still blown away by the humility and intelligence of this incredible woman.
