Well, hello there! Welcome back to the show! This is your bluesman Dave Harrison coming at ya once again from the blues filled studio in the Star City of Virginia! Welcome to Show #131! I've got a super show for you this time around! This show is highlighting some of the artists that I heard and interviewed in late May at the Delta Goove All Star Blues Revue held during the Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Festival! Plus we're celebrating the release of Big Pete's CD, Choice Cuts... Well, we started off the show a great cover from Big Pete off his brand new Choice Cuts CD! This song is special because I was in the studio when this was recorded and filmed it too! So who else is on my blues roster that was playing at this year's Simi Valley Cajun & Blues Festival? Well, how about Mikey Junior and Stone Cold Blues, Shawn Pittman, Arthur Adams, The Mannish Boys and more Big Pete! So.... Are you ready to hear some tunes from some of the performers and some short interviews from Simi Valley? Well, I hope so! Crank it up my friends, we’re off and running! Well, I hope you've enjoyed show #131, "Simi Valley Flashback"... Thanks to Randy Chortkoff for his great support, his invitation to being backstage at the festival, and letting my sit in the studio! Please keep in touch! Send your emails to [email protected]. Friend me on Facebook or MySpace, follow me on Twitter, check out my YouTube channel, but most importantly subscribe to the show through iTunes! So until next time, this is Dave Harrison reminding you to keep the blues alive and keep the blues in the blood! Dave
