It's ok to talk about mental health. It's ok. No really, it's ok. Shortly after signing the contract to open the first and only Black owned bar in Taiwan, $12,000 worth of investment was removed, without warning or notice. This, along with several other life events, led to a short bout of depression. Mental health in our community is something that needs to be discussed more, and often. This episode is me opening up about my experience, and how I powered through it as an expat.
