In this episode, we feature key speeches from the Inauguration of Dr. Andy Miller III as the ninth president of WBS, which took place on October 10, 2024 at Madison Methodist Church. Included here are the presidential charge delivered by Dr. Tim Tennent, former president of Asbury Theological Seminary and current chair of Methodist studies at Beeson Divinity School, followed by the presidential address from Dr. Miller, which had the theme “Fan the Flame” from 2nd Timothy chapter 1. Closing out the night was a moving prayer lifted up by Dr. Miller’s father, Major Andy Miller Jr. of the Salvation Army.

Goad studied at Trevecca Nazarene University, Brad has been in ministry since his days in College, including service as a Pastor, a Campus Minister, and a Civilian Chaplain at the US Coast Guard Academy, as well as working in the publishing industry. His message comes from the book of Nehemiah, focused on how the people responded to the word of the Lord proclaimed by Ezra the priest—and how we too might become people and churches who respond deeply to the Word of God.
