In this episode we meet Zaynab Jogi (known as Zee), Founder of Z Defence Academy, 2 x Guinness Book of Records holder, the North West's (UK) only Muslim female civilian Krav Maga instructor & the UK's only Muslim female Guinness Book of Record Holder (so far) for her record achievements (listen out for them)
During our talk you will hear about how Zee navigated her religious culture and stereotypical gender role in her teenage life through martial arts, an often male dominated sport, to create her charity and help hundreds of other women to achieve in the knowledge that no matter their past or cultural expectations, people are allowed to better themselves if they want to.
