Hello Daniel Artest here, host of the Artest Effect. In my latest episode, I dive into the topic of the NBA media and their impact on players and teams. As the brother of a former NBA player, I have seen firsthand how media criticism can affect players on and off the court.

I discuss the issue of the NBA media taking personal shots at players, which can be hurtful and damaging. While criticism is a necessary part of sports analysis, there is a line that should not be crossed.

I also explore the role of the media in shaping the conversation around basketball, and how they can be better at criticizing NBA players without getting personal. It's important for the media to recognize the power they hold in shaping public perception of players and teams.

As someone who has experienced the impact of media coverage on my family, I believe it's important to have a frank conversation about how the media can better serve the sport and its players. Tune in to the Artest Effect to hear my thoughts on this important topic.
