Our special guest today, award winning filmmakers Camilla Hall, will discuss her documentary, Subject, which premiered at Tribeca in 2022. The film explores the life-altering experience of sharing one’s life on screen through the participants of five acclaimed documentaries and ponders the ethics and responsibility inherent in documentary filmmaking. Jennifer Tiexiera and Camilla Hall are the Co-Directors and Producers of Subject. They met at the Tribeca Film Festival during the premieres of their previous films A Suitable Girl (by Tiexiera) and Copwatch (by Hall). They formed a connection based their filmmaking experiences and their feelings about the industry and decided to co-direct Subject.
