S2E6: Let's talk about maturity of all kinds!
The Art of Dating
05/17/22 • 56 min
One of the biggest things that Ryan is told about dating is that people don't feel like they are mature enough or ready enough to get married. Ryan and Kayla break down different levels of maturity. They talk about self-mastery over your emotions, passions, and appetites. There is another level of maturity which is having mastery over your physical attractiveness which can be how you move your body, get enough sleep, and what you fuel your body with. The last sign of maturity is progression, having goals, and being motivated. Maturing in these areas of life leads to being more ready to take your dating relationships a little more seriously.

S1E8: Let's talk about the art of conversation
The Art of Dating
05/04/21 • 36 min
Isn't it funny that often we interact with the same people weekly or even daily and not know much about them? We've all had that co-worker that shows up to work, clocks in, clocks out, and then leaves without interacting with anyone on their shift. Is it possible that you can be going on dates with or even dating someone who, come to think of it, you don't know very well? Ryan, Kayla, and Jessica talk about the importance of talking with your significant other and getting to know them to find out how compatible you really are.

S2E3: Let's talk about becoming spiritually attractive.
The Art of Dating
04/05/22 • 49 min
Last episode talked about different areas of your life that you can enhance to become a more attractive individual. In this week's episode, Ryan, Kayla, and Taylor talk in-depth about spiritual attractiveness. If you are motivated to be a more spiritual individual because of the person you are dating, that motivation can slowly fade. If your motivation to be more spiritual and connected with God comes from a love for Heavenly Father and Christ, then your testimony is more likely to be built on a foundation that can not fall. This episode gives about some ideas and methods that you can try to grow closer to God and the importance of intentional worship.

S2E5: Let's talk about social attractiveness, part 2... because we're all really awkward.
The Art of Dating
05/03/22 • 58 min
The last episode is about becoming less socially awkward with the help of two guiding principles, thinking and observing. The remaining 3 principles of becoming socially attractive are meekness, asking, and seeking the spirit. Kayla, Ryan, and Josh talk about being humble enough to understand the people around you before you seek to be understood. Sometimes it takes asking a trusted friend or loved one to help you see where you need improvement. Through the guidance of the Spirit, you'll better know how to navigate social awareness. The hope is that you walk away from this episode better able to socialize with people you interact with every day.
